Tyler Freel

Professional Hunter/Guide

Tyler developed a love of hunting and shooting as a kid in Colorado, then it kicked into overdrive after he moved to Alaska at age 16. He has spent the past 14 years hunting bears, moose, sheep, mountain goats, and many other Alaskan game animals. He also began shooting competitively in both NRA high power and USPSA tactical handgun. He earned several awards, including the coveted Distinguished Rifleman Badge. Tyler is also a licensed assistant guide and for the past several years has written about his experiences in the pages of Outdoor Life magazine, and produces videos on his Facebook page Points North. He loves living and hunting in Alaska, and with many of the situations he's in, knows what being a thoughtful shooter is.
